Wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for both of your replies. It is helping in my quest to find more about the Jones'.
Now, if it can help, I am adding part of David's tree. It will at least give us a better perspective of this family.
I am also including David's baptism record. Yes I know, it's in French. David was born (as well as his siblings and his parents) in the Province of Quebec, and in Quebec, it is mostly known to be French speaking.
I also found David's registration papers of WW1. He was already married by September 1918. I think I may have a photograph of David. With great anticipation, I am hoping someone else will recognize this individual, and confirm it is really David Jones.
Also, David's death certificate in 1941 offers additional leads to follow.
All in all, the problem I am having here, is that Claire is not showing much consistency with dates. When David died in 1941, she said she was 50 years old. Which takes her birth year at 1891. I now have a range between 1888 to 1891 to look at....
I must say, I am beat up with this Missouri couple, not an easy one.
Thanks again for your time, it is much appreciated. It has been a great help for me (more than you think).
