Im trying to find info on my great grandmother on my dad's side. Her maiden name is Mary Virginia Smith.
Married to Thomas Jefferson Harper.
Her dates are:
Born Nov 28, 1881 in Missouri
Died Nov 14 1960
These are the exact dates as I have a photo of her headstone.

According to census records, both of Mary's parents were also born in Missouri. Mary's mother's maiden last name is Tillman. Tillman is my dad's middle name. According to my dad, he was told as a boy that we are somehow related, through our Tillman name...to Lt. Col. Tench Tilghman 1744-1786, George Washington's Aide-De-Camp.
