OSCAR H. (SONNY) GOEDICKE , Jr. 79, of Livingston, TX died Sunday, August 15, 2004 at his residence near Livingston TX. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2004 at Pace Funeral Home with Pastor Vic Winkelman officiating. Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Sonny was born January 1, 1925 in Houston TX, to parents Oscar and Elise Look Goedicke. He graduated from Jeff Davis High School in 1942 and served his country during WWII in the Marine Corps. He was a lifetime Houston resident moving to Livingston fifteen years ago following retirement. His parents preceded him in. death. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Anna J. (Judy) Goedicke of Livingston; his son, Mark L. Goedicke of Houston; his daughter, Lisa A. Choate of Dallas; two grandsons, Raynor and Jackson Choate of Dallas; his sister, Selma L.
