Marion Lafayette Wheeler
My ggrandfather Marion Lafayette Wheeler owned a ranch in Fergus county I believe from the mid 1880's to 1920 when he died. I would where the land was and the time peroid he owned the land. He had a large herd of sheep and would go to Montana from Iowa several times per year. My grandfather and his mother, brother, and sisters also spent time on the ranch. I have paper work that states he did business with the Montana Lumber co. @ Moccasin-First National Bank Hobson-Fergus County state bank of Hobson-Frank P Redman Lewistown-H. T. Goodell Hobson Montana. This is all I have but thought I would start with Fergus county first. Thanks for any help you can give me. Judith Gettings
