Sorry to contact you this way. I have a picture of Bessie Lee Rider, and a pic of Walter C. Fannin's tombstone I would be willing to share with you if you are interested. They were my great grandparents. Walter was shot and killed before they moved to virginia. I never knew him.

I have been searching for info pertaining to his shooting for a long time. I tried contacting the Marshall, Texas sheriff's dept. but got nothing. I noticed that your tree shows he was killed in Texas.Do you have any info of his shooting death. I also can provide you with a copy of his Texas death cert. that says he was shot.
