I probably live about 1000 + miles from Valentine as I live in western MT. This time of the year is not a good time to travel as you know from living in SD and I wouldn't want to make the trip.

I thought about calling and may still do that. I think that a friendly volunteer found one of the marriages while in Lincoln, NE. She couldn't find the other one. I believe that the divorces may have taken place in Niobrara Cty., WY but there only the participants have access to those records and they have all been dead from 45 to 60 years. I have been doing research over 27 yrs. and have never had this problem before and have done the research in 2/3 of the states.
