Oh i dont know...maybe from my great grandfather himself who was born there? There were many renegade braves running around at that time who were part of the group under Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse.It is entirely possible that they traveled as far south as Nebraska. There also used to be pages in my family bible that had recorded the incident so...i do not believe that it would be made up if was in the family bible.
