Thank you for posting this information on the murder of Bessie Newton. I believe this same Frank Brink later married my grandmother's sister. I think you have just solved a family secret for me. Other Brink family members were living in the Ponca area at the time of the murder. My grandfather did not approve of his sister-in-law's marriage. He would not let my grandmother go to the wedding.
