Hello! I am researching several families who lived in Burwell, Garfield County, Nebraska. First of all, there is the family of Lewis KENNEDY and his wife Irene GOODENOW. They had Claire, Claude, Frank, George, Florence and Keo. Keo married Harry Kern. They all lived in Burwell during their childhoods, and maybe a few of them stayed on.....Irene GOODENOW is the daughter of Melville B. GOODENOW, born in 1844, and his wife Emily Minetta COFFIN, forn in 1850. Their children were Claude, Maude, and Irene GOODENOW. I don't know if Lewis KENNEDY had family in the area, and, in fact, I know very little about him, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
