Alice May Marlow was bor Mar 28, 1865 at Wyoming, Jones, Iowa and departed this life on Jan 24, 1930 at the age of 64 years, 9 months and 26 days.
On December 4, 1895, she was united in marriage to Stephen J. Conner of Burwell, Nebraska. To this union one child was born, Mary Zarilda Conner Hooper, who preceded her mother to the heavanly home about ten years ago, during the flu epidemic.
Mrs. Conner lived an earnest Christian life, and her influence had it's uplifting effect on all her friends and aquaintences. She was a hard worker in both Rebekah and Royal Neighbor lodges of Burwell and will be greatly missed by her many friends.
She leaves to mourn her passing a loving husband S. J. Conner of Burwell, two granchildren, Bell and Edna Hooper of Council Bluffs, Iowa; two brothers Stephen D. Marlow of Patricia,South Dakota, and William C. Marlow of Huntington Park, California. Also a large number of nephews, nieces and a host of friends.
Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist Church by the Pastor Rev. Auston, Sunday afternoon and the internment was made in the Burwell cemetery.
