A 6x9 hardcover book, 716 pages, over 70 photographs, with index to all surnames. Published 1985. Contains history and atlases (1888, 1903, 1916 and 1923) of southwest Hamilton County, NE, which includes Deepwell, Hamilton, Scoville and Union Townships. Emphasizes genealogical information on early residents of the area. This information includes Civil War veterans, homestead claims, 1900 U.S. Census of Population, cemetery inscriptions, farm sales, births, deaths, marriages, biographies and extracts from Giltner newspapers prior to 1963. Cost $39 which includes mailing costs.
