I am trying to find a death date and place, a burial place, and divorce information. He was married to Adelaid Fulford of the Steele City Fulfords. He and Addie divorced sometime between 1887 and 1900. In 1900, he was still a farmer living in the town of Endicott with his son Charles Alfred aka Fred. He alledgedly died 21 August, 1903. In addition to Fred, is children were Nettie, Herbert, and Clyde Glendale aka Glen. In 1900, Nettie, Herbert, Glen, and his ex-wife were all a part of the Eagle County, Colorado community.

Charles lived in Wisconsin after his family moved there from New York. Several records indicate he was born in Michigan, however, the 1850 and 1860 census records indicate his birth was in New York. I have found references to his birthdate as March, 1835 or June, 1838. I believe the June, 1838 date to be correct, because his sister, Amanda, was born 27 May, 1835. His parents were Aaron and Irena (Tryor) Horton.
