My Great-Grandparents, Frank and Mary Ann HINDERA, settled in Johnson County, Nebraska in the late nineteenth century. They were Silesian immigrants. Their son Albert HINDERA came over first on a boat with Anton and Rosalie (HINDERA) MASUR, and Valentine PELLA (who was later to marry Margaret HINDERA). Their European villages were in what is now Poland, but they were ethnically German. After a year of researching the descendants of these early immigrants, I have compiled a lot of information and would like to be contacted by anyone interested in these families and those they intermarried with. Some of the other surnames are: GORACKE, GRABA, HINTZ, HULICZKA, HUPKA, KEMPKES, KERNER, KROLL, LEMPKA, NEUKIRCH, PESCHEL, PIENTKA, PUCHALLA, SCHUSTER, SOBOTTA, UHRI, and ULLSPERGER. I have about 50 marriage records, much Census data between 1885 and 1920, and some family obituaries. Thank-you very much.
