Surnames: Cornell, Baker
I am looking for the property where J.B. and Adelia Cornell lived in Keya Paha County. This would have been after 1895 and through 1898, probably up until the early 1900;'s. The birth location of their youngest daughter has been recorded as Jamison as well as Mills, Nebraska. He was known as "King Corn" for the wonderful corn crops he raised on this farm.
They operated the Carlock Hotel in Gregory County after they left Keya Paha County.
Their children were Lydia (Dickerson), Wesley, George, Edna (Saylor, Conrad), Marvin, Bertha (Leslie), James aks Roy, Olive (Christensen), Warren, Emma (Kierstead, Hanson) and Hazel (Willoughby). Of course all their children and many of their grandchildren are now deceased.
Bertha was my grandmother. I will be in the area in the next couple of weeks, and would like to see the land to take some pictures.
A legal description as well as the roads to take there would be appreciated. I would also like the name of the person who is the present owner, so I can contact them for permission to view the land. I would probably be driving to it from Jamison.
