Hi - - the George Troxel family was listed in the 1910 US Census at Edith Precinct, Blaine County, Nebraska,
T624_838, page 186, #115/116 as follows:

TROXEL, George and wife Mary A., with their five children, Raymond, Mary E., Plive?, Nellie O., and George W.

Also, they are at Edith Precinct, Blaine, NE in the 1930 census with the addition of two more children, John T., and Lois R.

George Troxel was enumerated at Edith Precinct, Blaine, NE in the 1930 census; however, the census shows that he was now a widower, and that three children, John, Rose, and Dave are living with him.

The 1885 Nebraska census shows that George Troxel, age 4, lived with his parents, at Strol Precinct, Loup County, Nebraska.

Using Ancestry.com I find a date of death for Mary Amy Coday Troxel, as 23 May 1927 at Sargent, Custer, Nebraska.
She is shown as the daughter of Thomas Matthew Coday and Mary Emma Shepherd.

The Custer County Historical Society, under their obituaries index, shows that they have obituaries for:
Mrs. George Troxel, May 26, 1927, in the Sargent Leader; and
Mary Ann Troxel, in the Anselmo Enterprise, on May 27, 1927.

There is also an obituary listed for Mary Amy Coday's father, Thomas Matthew Coday, in the Anselmo Enterprise on |
July 30, 1926 which might be of help.
There are two obituaries for George A. Troxel.
You can find this information at:

The marriage license for Mary Ann Coday and George A. Troxel is in Book !, #262, for July 7, 1901. I believe that you can obtain a copy by writing to the Loup County Court House.

I have some Troxel materials related to Loup if you would like to contact me directly. The Blaine County information is very limited.
