Funeral Services were conducted at the Eclipse Church, Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Viola E. Bassett, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.M. McIntosh, at Mullen early Wednesday morning. The Bassetts settled in northwest McPherson County in the late 1880's and knew all the harships of a pioneer family. She is survived by two sons, Larry and Walter; four daughters; Mrs. Florence Able, Lena, Mrs. McIntos, Mrs. J.J. Jefferson, Lena, and Anna Bassett, Flats.
