The Neujahr family came from Germany in 1868 and went to Wis. and on to Seward County. The patriarch Heinrich Neujahr had at least five children including August William born 1854 in Germany and Hermann born in 1858 in Germany.
I find these boys on the 1900 census for Seward County. I would love to have old photos of these folks and help in finding their place of birth. It does not say in the census.
Also, others in the family who lived in Butler County were:
Emilie, born 1859, Carl, born 1850, and Albert born 1863.
