From the Gordon Journal, Gordon, NE: Word was received in Gordon Tuesday morning of the death of Lessert Skinner, 66, in Phoenix, Ariz. after a long illness.
Mr. Skinner was born June 13, 1908 in Gordon, the son of Joseph and Belle Morris Skinner.
He received his education in the Gordon schools, served in the U.S. Navy and various law enforcement agencies.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Vincent.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth, many relatives and friends.
