She is buried in the Hill Crest Cemetery:http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=ga...
There are currently only 729 residents there. The 1920 Census shows 527 persons.
She was about 43 when she died. Finding an obit for her strongly depends on if there were family/friends in the area, a newspaper, and other factors.
I'd suggest contacting the Thedford Library:http://www.librarytechnology.org/lwc-displaylibrary.pl?RC=21...
MOST libraries do not do research, BUT, this is small town Nebraska. They "might" have a microfilm of the local newspapers at that time and could be reviewed via the Inter-library loan system.
The Thomas County Herald, PO Box 271, Thedford, NE 69166-0271. MOST newspapers do not do research...but again, this is small town Nebraska. They may not have been in publication in 1918.
