I am trying to find information on the marriage ot my paternal grandmother;s maternal grandparents, Andrew young and Anna roycroft (or O'driscoll), married in 1857 in Virginia City Nevada. Andrew was a miner (possibly a foreman) in the Comstock silver mines.
When Andrew and annie got married, Andrew was presented with a set of silver napkin rings, made from the mined silver, they were engraved with the names Andrew on on one, and annie, on the other, one of my paternal uncles has the surviving napkin rings.
I know it is a lonh shot, but if someone who was a descendent of the person who performed the marriage of my great=great-grandparents, and/or worked with them, or where I could find a list of the comstock miners, I would be much appreciative,
Respectfully yours,
