Be very careful if using the information posted on Find A Grave for the Virginia City Cemeteries. Many entries have birth dates, birth places, maiden names and other family information that is not accurate.

Nevada does have census information online for free for years 1860-1920.
The Storey County Recorders office also has birth, marrriage and death records for many years online.

If using the photos of the family posted on Find A Grave please check to see if it is your family first.
My Grier/Hornick family information does not match up to the tombstone information shown.
