Virginia City, Storey co. NV. My people came from Scotland and became citizens there probably filed there one was granted naturalization in 1864 the other says was a citizen on 1870 census, also interested in any kind of a tax list or head count. Unfortunately the courthouse burned in 1874 and most records with it. Do you know if the State or another division of government has them in archives? My main name is John and Alexander Stoddart/Stoddard, married: Jennie Hully, James Jewell, Willie Brown, Young from that area. Is there a place on the internet which I am not very good at yet that I might see what the various archives of Nevada have especially things from Storey co. NV? Any input appreciated.
