WARD family New Hampton, NH 1700s & 1800s
I am looking for information on this WARD family. Jeremiah WARD was ordained pastor of the church there 1782, and died 1816. In the 1790 census he was listed: 2M 16+, 2M <16, 4 F.
I suspect his family included Jeremiah Jr (b ca 1769), John B (b ca 1775), Noah (b 1780-1784), & (I hope) Sally/Sarah. (dates from censuses).
Sally married John LEAVITT before 1792 and lived in Meredith, NH, where she was buried 1853, age 79. According to a son's death record, she was born in New Hampton, and she had a son Jeremiah W LEAVITT, so I think it possible she was a daughter of Jeremiah WARD.
