The "History of Merrimack and Belknap Counties, New Hampshire" makes several references to the Miles River and the Miles River Valley, but I can't seem to find it on any map or on google.

I assume that maybe the name changed, but to what? I haven't been able to find a history of it or the Gunstock River.

Any help appreciated.
