Can anyone from this area explain the relationship between these two towns? I find so many odd connections between them. Example, my grandfather Ira Prouty was born in Bellows Falls, yet his parents lived in Keene. His father was a physician in Keene but had no associations in Bellows Falls that I can determine. They appear close on the map but I have never been there. Does Bellows Falls have a fabulous hospital or something special that draws families? Just curious, thanks.
