I am looking for someone who can help me find a marriage of Isaac Davis Jr. to a Fanny ? in New Hampshire or a birth of Joel Holmes Davis in the Cheshire, NH area. Isaac Davis, Jr would be the father and Fanny ? possibly the mother. Isaac Davis, Jr was the son of Captain Isaac Davis and served in the American Revol. in a NH regiment. I am told he signed up in Walpole, NH. Isaac Davis Jr. later moved to New York, Niagara County, where he successfully entered a court case to gain his military pension and land rights.
