G'Day
My name is Margaret & I live in Western Autralia. I am hoping that some one out there can help me find my GG grandfather John William Holland.
I do not have very much to go on but this is what I have:
John William Holland born 1830 about in Cheshire. Father's name Charles and his occupation was a boot maker. John was convicted at Nether Knutsford on the 27/1/1848 to 7 yrs transportation for shop breaking & stealing. I know that he had 2 previous convictions. He may have come from Church Lawton or Wheelock in Cheshire.
I would like to know his previous convictions as that may give more detail as to where he was born.
I would appreciate any help that you can give.
