Hello,
I'm looking for information on my 3rd grand parents whereabouts in Berlin, NH, around the 1900's.
David Goulet was born in 1834, in Levis, Quebec. Philomene Nadeau was born in 1841. They were married in Levis in 1856. They had 14 children, several of them got married in Berlin, founded families and died there. The only one who stayed behind is my great-grandfather Joseph.
In 1892, David and Philomene moved to Berlin, I found them in the US census of 1900, living with their son Etienne and his wife Delia (Talbot). By the 1910 census, they were gone. I haven't found any information regarding their deaths in Canada, and since they were already old when they moved to Berlin, I'm assuming that they were buried there. Are there french-canadian cemeteries in the region?
Any information or tips would be much appreciated.
In the meantime, I wish you all a very Happy New Year
Marylene Goulet
