I am looking for information about John Joseph CORBETT who was born in Coos County New Hampshire in 1889 and lived on a farm near Jefferson.
His mother was Ellen or Mary Stone, from Canada, who married a Mr Kerr and had several children, including twins. Ellen then married John CORBETT, a soldier in the British Army in Canada, but born in Ireland.
John Joseph CORBETT came to Australia in 1918 and never returned to the United States, and I would like any information which will verify the story he told us about his past.
