Hello, I'm looking for information on William Diamonds family.
He was born abt 1755 Boston, MA, he married Rebecca Simonds born 1763in Lexington, MA. They had the following children

Rebecca Diamond b 1783 Lexington, MA
William Diamond b 1785 Lexington, MA
Mary Diamond b 1788 Lexington, MA
John S. Diamond b 1790 Lexington, MA
Elizabeth C. Diamond b 1792 Lexington, MA
Lydia Diamond b 1797 Peterboro, NH

Supposedly my line goes down thru John, to a William b 1816

There has always been a story in my grandmothers family of a drummer in the Rev. War, and a cousin gave me the information that leads to William Diamond who was the drummer who beat the call to arms at Lexington. When I asked where he got his sources so that I could add them to my tree, I never heard from him again! Some people are SO sensitive.
