Hi Susan You may be interested to know my father Peter McGlone was the general handyman for the good sisters who looked after him in time of the depression early 3o's. At christmas he used to drive them into the woods to get holly etc for decorations. however he was not used to horse and buggies and had no idea how to turn them and the woods went on and on and it got dark before they found a space. i believe they did have a car which he also drove. He died 1955 so I don't remember many of his stories.
