I looked on-line again, and Thomas, b1808, is descended from a family mentioned in the "history of Goffstown." And the family is descended from a Worcester County, MA, Joseph KIDDER family. And then from John, son of patriarch, James.
Elijah Kidder, 1st child of Job Kidder and Molly ---, was b. about 1762 in Goffstown; m. Nov. 27,1783, Mary Sargent, dau. of Trueworthy Sargent and Hopestill Weed; she. d. Mar. 30,1849, at Grantham. He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War in Col. Moses Kelley's Regiment in 1778, volunteering from Goffstown. He d. 1810 in Goffstown.
