I know you posted your query ~10 yrs. ago, but, since so much more information is now available on-line, I just looked at census records for Harold LEWIS. And this might be him in 1920:

LEWIS, HARRY (1920 U.S. Census)
NEW HAMPSHIRE , MERRIMACK, 1-WD; CONCORD; PENACOOK
Age: 19, Male, Race: WHITE, Born: MA
Series: T625 Roll: 1013 Page: 46

He is living as a boarder with a BROCKWAY ? couple, which has his parents and 4 boarders in the home. He was born in MA; his father was born in NH, and I can't read what it says about his mother's place of birth. He was a cook in a lunch room.

I'm having trouble finding Harry's parents from 1900 to 1920 in NH, or in MA.

If you go to www.familysearch.org and search for Harold LEWIS or Harry LEWIS in NH, you find several men mentioned. But, I'm not finding any where the other names you mention are included.

And, there are men, Dale LEWIS, in several mid-western states, but I'm not finding any in New England.

FYI:

One of my grandfather's brothers lived in NH. Arthur and .Phoebe. LEWIS first lived in Center Sandwich, NH. When their children were older they moved to Laconia, NH. Arthur was one of 13 LEWIS children growing up in Stoneham, MA.
