hi ..Please could any one tell me what this building would be in 1937?
Whilst doing my research I have found an ancestor (Dracup) who died there in 1937 The record from LDS tells me that he was an inmate for 11 days ..I did find that this could have been a poorhouse?/Lunatic Asylum but seem to be unable to pin down its purpose in 1937.
I am researching from the UK so any help/info/records would be very much appreciated.
