Hi, Ray -

I suppose you have seen this article that goes into some detail about Moses, Jacob, Andrew, Francis, Peter, and Caroline (_____) Sears. I just saw it last night:

“The Story of Our Valley, Chapter Four - A ton of Bricks (Part II)”; by Kevin Wright. Posted 27 Sep 2011. Website: RiverDellPatch.com . URL: http://riverdell.patch.com/blog_posts/the-story-of-our-valle... .

There's also a mention of the death of Peter Sears from this family, caused by a misstep and a fall from a kiln. It's in the following article:

“Ardent Spirits and Brick-Making in Southold - Part II” [New York]. Publication: “The Peconic Bay Shopper - Preserving Local History”; Dec 2009; pp. 7-9. URL: http://academyprintingservices.com/yahoo_site_admin/assets/d... .
