I have an Arthur H Bird in my ancestry tree. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Eliza) Dancer? Bird. I show him in the 1850 census with 8 children: Nicholas W, Andrew C.R., Thomas R., Elizabeth, Tobais P., Vansant, Alice D., and Hannah H. Bird. Alice D. Bird married my g-g-g uncle Josiah Challender. She died at 24 yrs. and is buried in Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery.

In the 1870 census Alice is listed living with her husband Josiah Challender, Arthur Bird, Eliza Bird, and Hannah Bird, in Imlaystown, Monmouth Co., NJ.

I am descended from the Challenders so that is why I have her and her family in my ancestry tree.

I have attached a photo of her headstone in Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery.
