South Ward City of Camden 1870: churches?

Surnames: Thumes, Thomes, Thomas
Rev Thumes (or Thomes? Thomas?) married an ancestor of mine in Camden NJ in January 1870. I would like to know what church Rev Thumes/Thomes/Thomas was affiliated with, hopefully to find a record of the marriage at that church.

Anyone have any idea what church this might have been? It was in the South Ward of Camden. The couple married were both German. The groom was Catholic. I don't know the religion of the bride.

Attached is a photo of the document from the state of NJ showing the name of pastor/reverend/priest. First name starts with I or S.

I googled "Thumes" in Camden NJ but came up empty.
