I have an Aaron Schellinger, born 1785, probably in Cape May, N.J. and died 1872, too old to have been "your" Aaron Schellinger, but perhaps an ancestor?
He was married to Sophia Bennett and was said to have a large family of dark eyed children.
I thnk that all of the Schellinger in that time and place were related.
