Leo Lehmann and his wife Lena (Magdalene Dreyer or Madeleine Dreyer or Margarette Dreyer) and their 6 children (born 1860 to 1876) lived in Bridgeton NJ in the 1880 census, 41 Cohansey St. Later they lived at 296 N Pearl St in Bridgeton NJ. Their 6 children were: Charles Lehmann, Rose Lehmann, Mary Lehmann, Caroline Lehmann, Frank Lehmann, Kate Lehmann.
Lena Dreyer was born in Lutzelbourg, Lorraine, France in 1835 and was German culturally. Her parents were Antoine Dreyer and Catherine (Berger) Dreyer. Her father (and probably her mother) emigrated to New Jersey sometime around 1853 and lived with their son Daniel Dreyer and his wife Gertrude Pfeiffer in Millville NJ. Another sister Caroline Dreyer also lived in Millville for a time before marrying Caspar Smith and moving to Pittsburgh, Indiana, and St Louis. Other Dreyer siblings settled in the Philadelphia area: Amand Dreyer, Antoine Dreyer II, Charles Dreyer, Rosalie Dreyer (married John Datesman).
