Classification: Query
My husband's great-great grandfather Henry Krumwiede owned a grocery store in Newark, New Jersey for at least 20 years. Henry resided on Springfield Avenue (believe the house number was 273), but I do not know where his market was in Newark nor the name. I believe he closed his market between 1910 and 1920.
Does anyone who may have resided in Newark or had a grandparent that resided there know of any market that this gentleman owned? His son Henry also owned a cheese market/shop in Newark after from at least 1920. Henry Jr. resided on Hunterdon Street. Don't know where cheese shop was.
