Allen E. Jenkins

Funeral services for Allen E. Jenkins of 767 Hunterdon street will be held at 1 P. M. Tuesday at Beckett's Funeral Home, 120 West Market street. Rev. John W. Sheldon, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Vaux Hall, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Jenkins, who was 71, died Friday at his home after a short illness.

Mr. Jenkins was chauffeur for 43 years for Mrs. Frederick C. J. Wiss of 78 Farley road, Short Hills. He was born in Henderson, N. C., and came to New Jersey when he was 13. He lived in Rockaway prior to coming to Newark 45 years ago.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Emily T. Brown Jenkins; a son, Cortland A. and a daughter, Miss Olga G. Jenkins, both at home; two brothers, Samuel of Morristown and William of Montclair, and four grandchildren.
