I am searching for John Flynn b.1848. Is in 1880 Fed Census in West Orange and in NJ Census through 1895. Possibly in City Directory as a mason in 1900. His wife Maria died 24Feb1920 and is buried in St John's Cemetery in Orange, NJ. The info sent to me is a crude index card with dates on varying lines . Of course, no one has a middle initial either.
I have repeatedly requested the office worker to physically check the actual tombstone to verify any additional info on John. To add interest, son John is also buried there.
Husband John may possibly have a dod Dec1905 ,were as son's is probably 21May1943. I can't request death certificate until I have more info on John's date of death.
If anyone lives near the cemetery and could check the grave marker , I would be so grateful.
Any other ideas would be great. What about which Catholic Church would they have been a member 1880 to 1920?
