Looking for the Kreiss family in Bayonne and Jersey City.
Christopher Kreiss was born 1819 in Germany. Parents: Christopher and Catherine Kreiss (maiden name, birth, marriage, and death dates are unknown).

Christopher Kreiss (1819- 1893) and his wife Theresa Kreiss (1821- 1881) lived in Bayonne. He worked for Standart Oil. Both are buried at the Constable Hook Cemetery in Bayonne.

Their oldest son Christopher Kreiss (1964 -1904) was married to Mary Brandon (??- 1906) burried at the Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.

I cannot find the town where Christopher Kreiss b. 1819 was born in Germany.
