Thanks. I have already been to those sites. Note: He died in 1896, the state archives don't cover that date. They run 1878-1888. Site says it will eventually go to 1900. The death record is located in the Hudson County microfilm records but some one must personally visit to look at files. The county will not print the record. I live in NC so it is not easy for me.
