New Jersey Birth Records through 1900 are available on microfilm through the FHL in Salt Lake.

I currently have the Hudson films on loan for 1893, 1894, 1896, 1897 and 1898, to retrieve the records for my grandfather and several of his siblings.

If you have a family members born in Hudson in those years and know the exact date, drop me a note and I will be happy to look for yours as well.

You can find the film numbers and dates on
https://familysearch.org/search/collection/show#uri=http://f...

Some records will also give you the page number, from the old ledgers. The more information you can give me, the easier it will be for me to find your records.

My library has a computer-assisted microfilm reader, so I can save a digital copy of the document and share by email - no printing or copying costs involved.

EDIT: The exact film numbers I have on loan are
494223 for 1893
494226 for 1894
494232 for 1896
494235 for 1897
494238 for 1898

These are the State/Civil Births Registrations - not the Church Baptismal Records.
