One branch of my family settled down in Jersey City, N.J. However, except one, I have yet to find out what happened to them. I have search a number of online sources (ancestry, newspaper archives, familysearch, cemetery databases), to no avail.
Father: Joseph Robert Nicholas, born in 1849 in Greenwich, London, England. Emigrated in 1875. Occupation: newspaper printer. Last record found: 1920 US census. Last known address: North Street, Jersey City.
Mother: Catherine Amelia Bone, born in 1849 in Greenwich, London, England. Emigrated in 1875. Last record found: 1920 US census. Last known address: North Street, Jersey City. Mother of about seven children:
Edward Nicholas: born around 1873 in England. Probably died between 1880-1900 in New Jersey.

Maud Nicholas: born in July 1876 in New Jersey. Last record found: 1900 US census. Occupation: dressmaker.
Adelaide Nicholas: born on 24 July 1876 in Jersey City. Possibly also known as Ada. Last record found: 1928 migration/travel records. Last known address: 155a North Street, Jersey City.
Joseph R Nicholas: born on 13 September 1878 in Jersey City. Possibly died between 1880-1900.
Catherine Nicholas: born in August 1880 in New Jersey. Last record found: 1900 US census.
Louis Robert Nicholas: born on 20 September 1885 in New Jersey. Married a Dorothy (surname unknown) around 1929. Occupation: salesman. Died in October 1964 in New Jersey.
Any help much appreciated!
