My Fleming family briefly lived in Hoboken (1907-1912) before returning to Canada. I know that Mary "Bridget" Fleming lived with her daughters at 153 Washington St., Hoboken as of the 1910 Census. Mary "Bridget" was born abt. 1853 in Ireland (this date is subject to change depending on the source); however, she immigrated with her children from Oldham, co. Lancashire, England first to Montmorency, Quebec then to the States and back again to Quebec. Daughter Agnes was born abt. 1884 in Oldham, daughter Lizzie was born abt. 1886 in Oldham, and daughter Annie was born abt. 1890 in Oldham. I have searched the 1910 Census index on Ancestry.com every which way, and I cannot find these names in Hoboken. So, I tried the alternate route of looking for the specific address, and I can't find that either. Using Mapquest for the modern location of 153 Washington St. as well as the Ancestry.com description of census district boundaries, it would seem that this address should fall within 1st Ward - Hoboken, District 44. However, I can't see where the addresses on those census pages go any higher than the 130's on Washington. I tried the next district in that ward, and the numbers are too high. Anyone have thoughts as to where I should be looking?
Thanks,
