G grnfthr Louis Carl Bohme arrived in 1880 to US was in Hoboken till 1924 his death in in W.NY, NJ. He worked for the Lackawanna Railroad. He was a Sachsen german and was born about Feb 25, 1854. He was widowed and at age 38 met Anna (Starr) Maring local widow of John Maring. she was b 1858 germany and had two small children; John Maring Jr b2/7/1888 and Lydia b @ 1890 in the 1900 Census they were living at 326 Washington in Hoboken and also their new son Leon was listed b 4/99 He was Leo Carl Delman Bohme(4/16/1899)my grandfather. For some reason the two step children were listed as neice/nephew. Could his wife have been a relation somehow. Anna Bohme died after 1924 but dont know where in NJ or when. I just found in SSN Index detn of John Maring Jr was 9/1964 Sister Lydia Maring married Francis Erlencotter bef 1930? and lived in Roselle/Linden area till 60's. Looking for relations to above!
