Does anyone have any info at all about a town called Cedar Crest? I know it was near Bamber Lake in Lacey, and I've got a lot of news items from the local papers from there from around 1913 to 1919, when the news just stops. I've looked at a lot of papers from the '20s and '30s, and other than some land being sold at auction in 1937, I haven't seen a single reference to this place. I'm trying to find out what happened to it---the Cedar Crest Produce company seemed to be the big employer, so maybe they went bankrupt? It's just odd that a town could just vanish like that without a mention in the local papers.
