Reinder Poortstra, born 02-03-1866 in Pingjum (Netherlands) died 10-21-1965 in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, married (1) 05-12-1888 in Paterson, New Jersey Baukje Scheffer, They divorced about 1903. Baukje was born 12-03-1869 in Minnertsga (Netherlands), daughter of Jacobus Scheffer and Trijntje Steenstra. Married (2) 01-04-1908 in Paterson, New Jersey Aukje (Ada) Vlietstra, 10-06-1877 Franeker (Netherlands), daughter of Roelof Vlietstra and Maaike Postma. Ada died 05-15-1968 in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
Riemer Poortstra, born 02-01-1868 in Pingjum. Was married with Froukje (Froke), a teacher from Friesland (Netherlands). died 1962 in Harriman, New York. Was a farmer in Harriman New York. They had one daughter Mathilde (1898-1998).
Jacob Poortstra, born 12-27-1869 in Pingjum. Was married. Had at least one daughter Annie, born about 1892. Maybe also a son Samuel and a daughter Mabel.

Does anybody know what happened with Baukje Scheffer after 1903.
Does anybody know what the surname of Froukje (Froke) was and the names of her parents, where and when she was born and where and when she died.
Does anybody know with whom Jacob was married, and what were the names and dates of her and of their children. And how it went with the children. Were they married or something. The wife of Jacob remarried a certain Komer.
